Parade In Dundas – 1954

Brian Henley runs a great blog posting historical photos and information about Hamilton and the surrounding area. Today’s post features some wonderful photos of a parade down King St. West in Dundas in August 1954 – including this one of a grand railway float in front of the old Post Office (still in use today as retail space). Note that the caption says the float was entered by the “Township of Barton”…we call that “Hamilton” today!
